تداولية الطلب والرفض في التفاوض السياسي مراسلات الحسين- مكماهون نموذجًا

يقوم هذا البحث على التحليل التداولي لعشر رسائل تدوولت إبان الحرب العالمية الأولى بين شريف مكة الحسين بن علي والمندوب السامي البريطاني في القاهرة هنري مكماهون، حول قيام دولة عربية موحدة مستقلة؛ بغرض الكشف عن تأثير لغة التفاوض السياسي في رسم ملامح تاريخ العرب الحديث.
وهو ينقسم إلى قسمين: الأول نظري يشرح المفاهيم التداولية الأساسية للدراسة، وأبرزها: نظرية الأفعال الكلامية التي أسسها جون أوستن وطورها جون سيرل، ومبدأ التأدب القائم على مفهومي الوجه الإيجابي والوجه السلبي وفقًا لدراسة براون وليفنسون، والمبدأ التعاوني الذي حدد قواعده باول جرايس. والقسم الثاني تطبيقي يحلل الرسائل تداوليًا بشكل متتالٍ.
ينطلق البحث من حقيقة أن كُلًّا من فِعلَي الطلب والرفض له جانب مهدد لوجهَي المرسِل والمرسَل إليه، ومن فرضية أن كِلا الطرفين يسعى إلى التعامل مع ذلك التهديد بما يخدم مصالحه السياسية، فيستغله أو يتجنبه، ويدفعه عن نفسه أو يغض الطرف عنه وفقًا لتقديره لتلك المصالح، في إطار شكلي من التعاون قد يُنتَهَك مضمونه التعاوني خلال التفاوض.
Abstract
This article pragmatically studies ten letters exchanged during World War I, between Hussein ibn Ali, emir of Mecca, and Sir Henry McMahon, British high commissioner in Egypt, concerning the formation of an independent united Arab state. The article aims to explore the effect of the political language on shaping the features of modern Arab history.
It consists of two parts: A theoretical part, which explains the basic pragmatic concepts of the study (mainly speech acts theory, politeness principle, and cooperative principle). And a practical part, which pragmatically analyzes the letters.
It assumes that the sender as well as the addressee deal with the face-threatening aspects of the request act and the refusal act according to their political interests, within a cooperative frame, which may be violated in turn during the negotiation.
